큐브의 반복되고 정형화된 패턴, 고양이의 자유로움. 둘의 조화를 위해 회전 요소를 추가하여, 캣타워를 돌리면 내부구조가 같더라도 회전 방향에 따라 고양이에게 다른 공간으로 인지되도록 설계했다. 사다리꼴 형태의 넓은 바닥은 고양이가 자유롭게 활동하고 휴식할 수 있게 했으며, 그 아래 공간은 고양이의 독립성을 보장하는 형태로 만들었다. 이를 회전시키면 좁은 길 형태로 바뀌어 고양이에게 긴장감 있는 동선을 제공한다. 교차하는 형태의 내부 공간들은 각도에 따라 해먹이 되거나, 고양이가 뛰어다닐 수 있는 빈 공간으로 활용된다. 내부의 경사진 판은 수직으로 돌리지 않으면 경사로 형태를 유지해 고양이가 오르내리거나 아래에서 휴식할 수 있게 했다. 수직으로 돌리면 해당 공간으로 가는 경로가 차단되어 동선에 변화를 준다. 외부 공간들은 회전 방향에 따라 가로 또는 세로 배치로 바뀌어 고양이의 이동 방향에 다양성을 제공한다.

The title is Cat + Angular, meaning that if a free cat is grafted on the opposite side of the cube’s repeated and standardized pattern, and the cat furniture is turned by adding an element called rotation to harmonize the two, the cat is recognized as a different space depending on the direction of rotation. The wide trapezoidal floor allows the cat to freely travel or relax, and the space underneath it is made to guarantee the cat’s independence. However, if it is rotated, it changes to the form of a narrow road, allowing the cat to feel nervous as it passes by. Similarly, the intersecting inner threads were intended to act as hammocks depending on the angle, or to allow the cat to jump and pass through the empty space. The inclined plate inside was always intended to go up and down in an inclined form or to relax in the lower space unless it was turned perpendicular to the plate. If it was rotated vertically, the cat was asked to change the route by blocking the route to the space. Depending on the direction of rotation, the outer threads were made by changing the horizontal or vertical arrangement, taking into account the change in the direction that the cat passes through.
